I’m Angela Hill. I solve problems with numbers. I show you where your website is losing money, and help you fix it. That’s what I do. I’m a math detective.
I’m a Senior Analytics Strategist at an interactive agency in the San Francisco bay area. I love numbers…possibly a bit too much. I have yet to meet someone who gets as purely happy as I do when presented with a meaty math problem. If you know anyone, send them my way.
I do a lot of other things. I’m a musician, artist, goofball, athlete, interior designer, and oh-so-much more. Actually I think my resume sums it up pretty well like this:
Strategic thinker, number lover, modern marvel, metrics maven, delicate but not fragile, strong but not rigid, absurdly stylish, unusually complex, energetically creative, confidently imperfect, internationally intrigued, negligibly nefarious, uniquely disciplined, opinionated but still open-minded, analytically alive, daringly decisive, authoritatively alliterative, imaginatively inspired individual.

Hey Angela,
I LOVE your blog! SO COOL. I didn’t know you did all this stuff.
I have been looking for an easy way to get analytics on embedded video. So, for example, at http://mrsremotecontrol.com/the-rosie-pose-volume-1/ we have a video. I want to know how many times people watch this video, and maybe even differentiate between when people watch the whole thing and when the quit within the first 30 seconds. Do you know anything about this? Thanks!

I’m glad you like the blog! I’ve done a lot of video tracking, actually, and I’d be glad to talk to you about it. The method pretty much depends on the player, but we can definitely figure it out. I’ll send you an email!
